Dr. Thomas Sweeney, DDS
With over 30 years of experience and a Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Washington, Dr. Sweeney brings extensive knowledge from treating complex cases throughout his career. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 1984 and completed his specialized training in periodontics in 1986. His earlier education includes a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from UC Davis and a Master’s in Biology from California State University Chico.
Dr. Sweeney maintains active memberships in the Washington State Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, and International Team of Implantologists. His dedication extends beyond the practice through his longtime support of Seattle Children’s Hospital. When he’s not transforming smiles, Dr. Sweeney enjoys skiing, riding his Harley, and spending time with his golden retrievers.
Dr. Rhys Spoor, DDS
Dr. Spoor has established himself as a leading educator in aesthetic and implant dentistry since receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 1983. He served as an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington Dental School for ten years and continues to teach aesthetic dental courses throughout the United States, Canada, and internationally. His work has been published in over 15 countries, and he currently serves as an editorial reviewer for the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Spoor is an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Society, and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Society. His hundreds of hours of continuing education ensure his patients benefit from the latest techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Outside the practice, Dr. Spoor enjoys flying planes and building homes.
