While every patient is different, an office tooth whitening session could take anywhere from one to two hours.
Take Home Whitening Kit
Take home whitening kits are customized to give you a brighter smile. If you decide on the take home whitening kit, Dental Specialties Northwest will provide you with customized trays that you will use with a prescription whitening gel. Your trays will be worn according to your dentist’s instructions with dramatic results in four to six weeks.
In some cases, Dental Specialties may recommend both in office and take home whitening trays for stubborn stains and touchups. Keep in mind that any type of tooth whitening product will not work on tough interior stains or teeth that have been previously restored.
